HARVEST Manual harvest at the end of September beginning of October
VINIFICATION AND MATURATION Soft grapes pressing after the vinification. The wine ages 9 months in French barrels.
COLOUR Deep ruby red with violet reflections
NOSE The scent is dark and intense with many berries as well as violet flowers, spices and notes of barrel aging.
FLAVOUR A nice strong wine to the taste, with intense notes of wild berries, well-integrated tannins, with a long, long finish.
A classic deep red from southern Italy, but also with slightly more evident tannins, which give some structure to the rich taste of the sun-ripened grapes.
FOOD COMBINATIONS for different dishes such as beef, barbecue, cheese platter or as an accompaniment to tasty first courses.
