HARVEST Manual harvest in the first half of September
VINIFICATION AND MATURATION Hand-harvest of ripe and complex grapes. Destemming and maceration of the grapes at 25°C for about 48 hours.
Soft pressing of the grapes before starting the malolactic fermentation. Aged 6 months in French oak barriques.
COLOUR Deep ruby red with scarlet reflection
NOSE Rich aroma of berries, plums and cherries, with hints of coffee and black pepper.
FLAVOUR A full-bodied wine, soft and balanced, rich in fine tannins, with a pleasant long lasting finish.
FOOD COMBINATIONS first courses, red meats, game and aged cheese. Savoury plates and Asian spicy dishes.
